Be Bold with a Purple Roller Blind
Purple has been associated with royalty and nobility for centuries and whatever the style of blind that you are looking for, whether it be a light lilac to adorn a sunny morning room or an opulent, rich, dark purple, ideal for cutting out light at a bedroom window, there is bound to be a selection of purple roller blinds available in the perfect shade for your windows.
A deep purple bedroom blind works well as it is an intense, rich shade of colour, and if you want to eradicate all light then a blackout blind works best. Plush purple blackout roller blinds can be used in bedrooms but work equally well in any room using luxurious dark fabrics colours as there are some fantastic fabrics in dense textured weaves of corduroy, satin and velvet effects to lend drama and depth to interiors. For a room darkening solution, fabrics that are heavily textured, closer weave and in darker colours naturally provide better shading, such as dim out fabrics; an aubergine roller blind, royal or imperial purple roller blinds, violet, pansy, Mardi Gras or magenta.
At the other end of the scale, the lighter shades will naturally be better for light filtering or diffusing light into a room, so a pale purple, mauve or light lavender fabric would provide privacy whilst allowing light into the environment. There are also semi-transparent roller blinds such as sheer voile or weave blinds. These weaves and screens will filter and diffuse the light partly into a room, whilst showing the view through the blind when drawn.
Various shades of purple blinds could be used to accessorise many different interior settings. A waterproof fabric would be ideal in a bathroom or shower area and if it is going to come into contact with water should be made from a substance that won't absorb water. A kitchen blind might be in a fabric that has been recommended by the manufacturer for moist conditions and that can also be sponge cleaned. Kitchen roller blinds could have food themed patterns and styles with aubergine, grape vine, berry and flower printed designs proving especially popular. Purple can be practical with anti-bacterial materials as well as sponge cleanable being used for settings such as nurseries, hotels and care homes.
Some customers will be searching for energy saving window blinds when the winter nights draw in and fuel bills start to rise once more, similarly in the summer when sunlight is strongest solar protective or reflective blinds are useful to reduce solar gain and prevent heat build up in rooms such as conservatories.
Some of the purple patterned roller blind designs on offer are jacquard weaves where the pattern is woven into the fabric, maybe using complementary or contrasting colours such as lime green, cream, shocking pink, white, black and gold, and often they are contemporary and bold printed fabrics that can form part of your interior design space as their own work of art. Whether spotted or striped, graphic prints or more classic floral and vine designs, a purple roller blind can shade your window and add a rich thread of colour in your interior.
