These are the terms and conditions of Rollerblinds Limited trading as rollerblinds.org. You must read and agree with our terms and conditions before buying from our website or over the phone with us. When you buy products from our website you enter into an contract with Rollerblinds Limited (Company Number 8079586), whose registered office is Northern Assurance Buildings, Albert Square, 9/21 Princess Street, Manchester, M2 4DN, trading as rollerblinds.org.
1. Our products and samples
a. Descriptions, images and samples
We do our best to represent the colour and texture of our products on our website. We strongly advise you to request and inspect a sample of the fabric for colour, texture and quality before placing your order for a roller blind made from that fabric. Computer monitors vary significantly and whilst every attempt will be made by us to ensure that the products supplied match in every respect any images and descriptions given to you on our website as well as any samples supplied, any minor or immaterial variation between sample, description or image and the products delivered shall not entitle you to reject the goods, nor to obtain a refund, nor claim any compensation for such variation or change.
b. Manufacturing tolerances
Please note that even though our products are cut with high precision machines there is a tolerance of 5mm. You will not be entitled to reject the products if the sizes are within this tolerance limit.
c. Fabrics and colours
Most of the fabrics we use to make our roller blinds are dyed in batches and each batch can vary slightly in shade. Due to this we cannot guarantee that the roller blind you receive will match exactly any sample we have supplied to you. Similarly we cannot guarantee roller blinds ordered at a later date will match roller blinds from an earlier order and we strongly advise that you order all blinds of the same colour in the same order.
d. Child Safety standards
We only supply blinds which conform to the child safety requirements of EN 13120 ("Safety Codes"). We will assume that the blind that you order will be fitted in an environment where a young child may come into contact with it. The length of cords or chains supplied with your blind is determined by this European Standard. Where a safety device is required this will be supplied with the blind and must be fitted.
2. Your order
a. Our acceptance of your order
We will accept your order when we have received payment of the whole price of the products that you order. Once we have received payment our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. We have the right to cancel your order if we are unable to make the products, if the products have been discontinued or we have insufficient stock. We also have the right to cancel your order if you require delivery to somewhere we are unable to deliver to or if a pricing error has occurred due to some system failure of our website. We will contact you if we are unable to accept your order for any reason. No discounts or compensation can be offered under these unforeseen circumstances.
The products you order will be manufactured according to the measurements you provide in your order. It is very important that the measurements you input are accurate. We cannot accept the return of goods by reason of the measurements provided being incorrect. We strongly advise you to read our measuring guide or call our customer services team if you would like guidance on how to measure accurately. We also strongly advise you to check the email confirmation from us to check that you have input your measurements accurately and placed your order correctly.
c. Your right to cancel your order– Made to measure products
According to The Consumer Protection (Distance selling) Regulations 2000, made to measure goods such as our made to measure roller blinds are excluded from this legislation and the 7 day cancellation rights do not apply. Because our made to measure products are custom made to your exact requirements, they are not suitable for resale by us and therefore we will not accept returns of made to measure roller blinds. Cancellations are still possible as long as the products you have ordered or parts of them have not been made. If the products have already been made we will not be able to refund your money. Please telephone us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel your order so we can check if your order has gone into production. This does not affect your statutory rights.
d. Ordering by telephone
If you place your order by telephone then our customer services team will input the sizes and product types and repeat this information back to you. However we advise you that we do not accept claims based on the wrong information being input by us and therefore strongly advise you to check our email confirmation carefully after you have placed a telephone order with us.
a. Product prices
The prices payable for the goods that you order are set out in our website. All prices on our website include VAT.
b. Delivery prices
The price for delivery of your goods is not included in the roller blind price and will be added to this price and clearly displayed as part of the shopping process and before you place your order.
c. Confirmation and acceptance of price
After placing your order with us please check your confirmation email which will detail all prices and the total price to ensure you are happy and have understood our prices correctly.
Payment of the whole purchase price is due before any delivery by us of the products.
b. Payment methods
All products from Rollerblinds Ltd are custom made to your specifications and all orders are paid for when your order is placed. Visa, Mastercard, Solo and Maestro are accepted via our website. We can accept payment by cheque but this must be sent to us before your order is started and a holding period of 7-10 days should be expected whilst we wait for your cheque to clear before your order will be put into production.
We will do our best to deliver our products on or before the scheduled delivery date. However any delivery dates given or implied are estimates and are not given as a guarantee that your product will be delivered on that day. If you have ordered more than one product we will try to include all your products in one delivery however we reserve the right to make more than one delivery. We advise you not to book a fitter to install a product until the order has been delivered and you have checked that there are no defects and that all the parts and brackets are complete.
We strongly advise you to read our installation guide before installing your roller blind. As various fitting parts may vary between different blind types we also strongly advise that you carefully read any further instructions that may be provided together with the roller blind on delivery or sent to you prior to delivery. We strongly advise you call our customer services team if you would like further guidance on how to install your roller blind.
Rollerblinds Limited offers a 12 month manufacturer’s guarantee on manufacturing faults. Should any defect occur during this time Rollerblinds Limited will at our expense repair or replace the product at our discretion. We may require you to return the faulty goods for our inspection before we send out a replacement or provide digital photographs of the fault. Our guarantee expressly excludes the labour and equipment costs that may be involved in the removal of a blind from its installation and any other costs which may be involved for dismantling or access requirements. Your guarantee is invalid if the defect was caused by incorrect installation, misuse or abuse, accident, failure to follow measuring or fitting instructions or normal wear and tear. This does not affect your statutory rights.
8. Liability for defects and damaged goods
On delivery the packaging boxes and materials must be inspected for signs of damage and any damage must be noted on the courier’s delivery slip or hand held terminal. We also strongly advise that you inspect your blind for damage at the earliest possible opportunity and also inspect that it has been manufactured exactly to your requirements and within the tolerances as noted in 1b. Any damage due to delivery or manufacturing must be notified to us by email or telephone within 7 days following the receipt of your goods. Should any defect occur during manufacture or your product be damaged during delivery Rollerblinds Limited will at our expense repair or replace the product at our discretion. We may require you to return the faulty goods for our inspection or provide digital photographs of the damage or faults before we send out a replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Things outside our control
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods or for any delay or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion, accident or extreme weather.
10. Third party rights
The provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 are expressly excluded from the contract so that no third party may claim any rights under this contract.
11. Governing law
The agreement between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.

Our entire liability in connection with this contract will not exceed the purchase price of the products in question.
